The trio's investigation leads them to a secret Nexus facility, where they confront the leader of The Nexus, a man known only as The Architect. The Architect reveals that he seeks to create a utopia, free from the corruption and conflict that plagues Earth-2. He believes that the destruction of Earth-2 and the merging of its parallel universe will be the catalyst for this new world order.

In a tense standoff, Li Wei, Mei, and Agent Zhang must outsmart The Architect and his loyal soldiers.
